Corporate Structure

Nordic Solar Energy A/S (NSE) is a Danish registered company owned by the investors and governed by a board of directors elected at the general assembly. All investments are evaluated by the board of directors, which ensures that all investments are made with the aim of securing the best possible return to investors. The board of directors and the management invest on equal terms as other investors.

Nordic Solar Energy is a holding company for several companies, each containing a solar park with separate operation and bank financing. At the end of 2011 NSE owns shares in two solar parks, one in Germany and one in Spain, and raises capital for the next investments.

NSE’s capital raise and investments are performed by NSE Management. This ensures a transparent cost structure, and all contracts with NSE Management are on market terms on contracts that may be terminated by NSE. NSE does not remunerate employees and the costs of conducting investments and performance of due diligence is transaction dependent. The structure secures direct investments without any middlemen, resulting in the best possible combination of high return on the investments and variable costs.
