Nordic Solar Energy A/S (NSE) invests in solar parks within the European Union. NSE profits from the established systems of state guaranteed settlement prices on power produced from solar energy parks. NSE is part of the renewable energy sector that reduces the world CO2 emission and the dependence on traditional energy sources.

NSE establishes a portfolio of solar parks, where investors receive an attractive return on a risk-diversified investment in several EU markets.

Nordic Solar Energy’s solar parks deliver electricity to the German and Spanish grid

NSE’s German solar park was established in first half of 2010 in Zerre in Germany – a total investment of EUR 2,5 mill. The solar park produces electricity covering app. 200 household’s yearly electricity consumption.

NSE’s Spanish solar park was established in the second half of 2008 in Beniarbeig in Spain – a total investment of more than EUR 13 mill. NSE invested in the solar park in 2011 and is co-owner of the park that produces electricity covering app. 600 household’s annual electricity consumption.

NSE’s objective is

  • Return above 10% per year measured on IRR
  • dividend payment every year

Investing in solar power plants is characterized by low risk, due to the well known and simple technology with low maintenance costs. As the level of solar radiation is very stable (typically +/- 3-5% per year) and the price received from selling power to the grid is guaranteed by the government in the project lifetime, investors are ensured a stable cash flow from the investment.

NSE prepares investments in solar parks in a broad spectrum of EU countries e.g. Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Bulgaria and Belgium. Investment in new solar parks is carried out successively as the capital is raised in Nordic Solar Energy A/S. The objective is to build a portfolio of solar parks within the EU, creating an investment with a profile of a high yield bond.
