Commissioning Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Commissioning Manager to fortify the solar park initiatives. Your role is pivotal in coordinating stakeholder collaboration, overseeing third-party involvement, and optimizing the commissioning process. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations, foster effective coordination, and elevate Nordic Solar’s commissioning standards.

As a Commissioning Manager, your primary responsibilities include leading commissioning and start-up activities within the EPC project execution and project management value chain. This pivotal role demands strict budget compliance, timely project milestone achievement, adherence to safety protocols, and maintenance of high-quality standards. You will report directly to EPC Director, Volkan Cebe.

Your main responsibilities include:

    • Developing and reviewing commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures.
    • Verifying the functionality of monitoring, control, and communication systems. Configuring system settings to optimize performance and data collection.
    • Conducting various tests, including electrical, functional, and grid assessments.
    • Maintaining detailed records of commissioning activities and results. Preparing commissioning reports, punch lists, and documentation for project stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

Commissioning Specialist
To excel in this role, you most likely hold a background in Electrical Engineering or a related field, backed by 5-7 years of experience in commissioning. Your expertise should demonstrate technical and commercial proficiency. Experience in collaborating with grid operators and internal grid engineers is a plus. While not mandatory, having completed project management education or obtained certifications such as Prince2 is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, familiarity with SCADA systems, and strong English communication skills are essential for your success.
