Minimum investment is EUR 100.000

The portfolio composition is structured as follows:

  • Minimum 50 % is invested in Europe
  • A maximum of 50 % is invested in other OECD countries
  • A maximum of 33 % is invested in any single country
  • The company has a maximum of 33 % currency exposure different from Euro and Danish kroner

The company has a goal of a return of at least 8 % p.a. on the total portfolio. The return should be seen in conjunction with the risk associated with the individual investment and the return level generally in the individual market.

In order to avoid periods of overcapitalization and thus lower returns to shareholders, the purchase of solar parks is funded by the company’s shareholders and other investors, as well as by banks in the form of investment credits. Lenders will be able to convert loans to share capital on favorable terms, as investments are made in the company.

The investment policy forms the framework for Global’s investments and may be adjusted by the Board, to always reflect the interests of shareholders and the development in the market.

Nordic Solar Global wants as much diversification as possible in the portfolio and all shareholders are co-owners of the company on equal terms. The Board of Directors is elected annually at the Annual General Meeting.

Nordic Solar Global consists of a group of shareholders who, through the Board of Directors, set the framework for the company’s operations and development.

Nordic Solar Global is open for subscription of loan commitments for new investments. New capital is used for new investments, so the portfolio achieves greater risk spread year by year. Any new investment requires that the company has capital. As dividends from the underlying parks are paid to shareholders each year, new investments will require a prior capital injection. In this connection, it is important that the company has a fair system for determining the share price. Since the company’s shares are not listed and thus do not have an official trading price, the price is determined by the board in connection with new capital increases.

Once a year the free liquidity generated from operations in the individual solar parks is paid out as dividends to the shareholders. The dividend payment is approved at the company’s annual general meeting.

Nordic Solar Global wants to provide a wide range of investors with access to investments in solar projects.

Key concepts in the company are transparency, stability, and accountability.

The company will establish itself as the investor’s preferred investment company in solar energy.

The vision is achieved by the ongoing implementation of a number of capital increases, as well as investments in solar power plants. The goal is to have established 150 MWp of solar power plants over the next few years with a corresponding equity of at least EUR 150 million.
It is the company’s wish to make an IPO with Nordic Solar Global, to the extent that this creates additional value for the company’s shareholders.

The Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is responsible for being the sparring partner of the management and ensuring the implementation of the company’s investment policy. The Board of Directors, as the shareholders’ representatives, ensures that all investment decisions follow the investment policy. Thus, the management can not make investments without the Board having assessed and approved them. The Board of Directors is elected annually at the Annual General Meeting.
