Financial Controller
We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Financial Controller. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance department in a growth company with a focus on solar energy.
As a Financial Controller at Nordic Solar, you will be responsible for the 360-degree financial controlling of one or more operational solar assets and participate in the Group Reporting work. You will report directly to Head of Group Controlling.
Your work tasks as a Financial Controller can be summarized as follows:
- Prepare monthly financial reporting including reconciled profit/loss and balance
- Prepare budgets yearly and quarterly updated forecasts
- Review tax calculation prepared local administration
- Prepare covenant reporting
- Monitor all filing compliance issues (annual reports, VAT, tax)
- Corporation with local auditors
- Corporation with the local administrator/accounts
- Corporation with our in-house technical staff and investment team
- Invoice approval and payments
- Develop financial controlling
- Ad hoc tasks
The group prepares quarterly external reporting in accordance with IFRS. The job also includes tasks related to the reporting and consolidation work.
Significant growth potential in Finance & Administration department
The ideal candidate holds a relevant theoretical background at bachelor/master level with a focus on financial reporting and/or audit. This could be HD, cand.merc.aud. or similar. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, where you have been working with controlling and preferably reporting. You should be a champion in monthly closing and reconciliation, working well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
