Head of Group Financial Reporting

We are seeking a strategic Head of Group Financial Reporting to steer financial reporting initiatives, ensure IFRS compliance, and elevate Nordic Solar’s global financial standing.

As the Head of Group Financial Reporting, you will oversee the financial landscape, ensuring IFRS compliance, refining reporting methodologies, and managing a dedicated team. Your primary objective is to enhance transparency, streamline reporting processes, and foster a culture of financial excellence within the organization. Your main responsibilities are:

  • Oversee and participate in the quarterly reporting process, including the preparation of the Annual Report.
  • Communicate with auditors.
  • Oversee and prepare IFRS documentation.
  • Manage the consolidation process.
  • Develop and present reporting KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Investor Relations on financial presentations and reviews.
  • Lead and manage team members.
  • Participate in board presentations.
  • Develop group controlling.

You will report directly to the Group Reporting Director, providing strategic financial insights. Additionally, you will lead and manage a dedicated team of professionals, fostering their growth and collaboration.

Group Reporting Leader
Taking on the role as Head of Group Financial Reporting, you are expected to possess a master’s degree with a focus on financial reporting or audit (e.g., cand.merc.aud.). Additionally, a minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in Group Finance Reporting under IFRS standards is essential. Strong managerial expertise is a prerequisite, given the role’s leadership responsibilities. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with advanced English proficiency (negotiation level). Proficiency in Microsoft Office is crucial, and familiarity with ERP and consolidation tools is expected to excel in this position.
