We are looking for a service-oriented and capable Head of Office & Facility to lead our efforts in creating a functional, efficient, and welcoming workplace. You will step into a broad role that encompasses both strategic partnership-building, creative event planning, and data driven workspace management. All contributing to Nordic Solar’s growth-focused mission in the renewable energy sector.
In light of Nordic Solar’s rapid growth, the demand for Office and Facility Management has increased significantly. As the Head of Office & Facility, you will play a central role in shaping a well-functioning workplace that is welcoming and offers great service to guests and employees. You will lead one Office Manager and oversee office operations, vendor relations, and event coordination. Your greatest contribution will be to create a functional, sustainable, and collaborative workplace. You will report to the Chief People Officer and work out of the Hellerup-office (Copenhagen).
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Manage daily office operations, including canteen services, for optimal functionality
- Run Friday bars, celebrations and arrange internal events
- Oversee facility maintenance and safety compliance
- Office layout for collaboration
To excel in this role, you most likely hold an academic background with a proven track-record within Office/Facility Management. Experience within event planning will be an extra advantage. Fluent communication in both English and Danish is essential to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is paramount for managing various administrative and communicative tasks.
Your service-oriented mindset, coupled with a data-driven approach, will be pivotal in crafting an exceptional workplace environment. Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to challenges are highly valued qualities, as they contribute to maintaining a functional and welcoming workspace.
