People Engagement Manager

We are looking for a People Engagement Manager to join the People & Culture Team. In light of Nordic Solar’s rapid growth, the People & Culture Department is expanding the team with an experienced People Engagement Manager, who will work with the DE&I, Engagement, and Learning & Development agenda. You will report to the Chief People Officer and work out of the Hellerup-office (Copenhagen).

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Drive a continuous focus on the engagement agenda, selecting, and defining the right tools and processes, and running initiatives to maintain a high level of engagement throughout the organization.
  • Identify and address Learning and Development needs in close collaboration with the department heads and focusing on a scalable set-up.
  • Work with relevant initiatives to ensure that Nordic Solar “live” the DE&I policy and ambition of having an inclusive work environment where everyone feels they belong, thrive, and can perform at their full potential.
  • Own, drive and develop our Employee Development Conversations
  • Ensure Nordic Solar’s distinctive culture is maintained as the company scales and grows.
  • Utilize relevant data, tools and processes, to ensure that we keep improving – fostering a great work environment.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our managers, serving as a reliable advisor and partner, and hands-on coming up with suggestions and concepts or facilitating discussions or workshops where needed. You thrive in an outgoing role where your input, suggestions, and discussions may revolve around difficult topics. Ultimately, the goal of the People Engagement Manager is to create and maintain the best possible workplace ensuring that employees are given the best opportunity to thrive and develop.

People Engagement Manager with passion, ambition, and solid experience
To be successful in the role, you most likely have a master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role within L&D, engagement, and/or DE&I is essential. You are tech-savvy and have worked with different engagement platforms and other relevant tools within this field. You have great project management skills, experience with cross-functional communication, and high emotional intelligence. Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, along with excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly and concisely, is required.
