Student Assistant – People & Culture Team
Do you love research, analyses, and presentations of data? Do you want to learn about People & Culture? And do you want to be part of making everyone benefit from solar energy?
The role
As our Student Assistant in People & Culture, you will provide valuable administrative support to our team and get to be part of various special projects.
Due to Nordic Solar’s rapid growth in 2023, we are shifting from manual administrative processes to automating our HR tasks and processes and implementing HR and Engagement platforms.
This broad and exciting field of work will give you a general understanding of many areas within People & Culture, with a focus on HR Operations.
Your primary playing field will be our new HR system, Hibob, which we are preparing to launch in January. You will get to handle data entry and maintenance, efficient filing, and document management within the system.
You will also be involved in People & Culture projects, where you will get to perform research, data analysis, and creation of Power Point presentations and documents.
We expect the position to be approximately 15 hours per week. You will mainly work from our office in Hellerup, but it is also an option to work from home at times.
Your team
The People & Culture team in Nordic Solar has been established over the past year. The team now consists of four people, with two team members working part-time. We cover everything from employment contracts and onboarding to engagement surveys and Diversity & Inclusion. You will report to our People Operations Manager, Eva, who has previous experience with our new HR system. We have a fun and informal tone, making time for small talk even on busy workdays.
Goals and responsibilities
Your first goal will be to support the successful launch of our new HR system, Bob, ensuring that we have all the needed data entered correctly and stored securely.
Secondly, you will help to develop efficient processes and procedures, creating useful guides for our team and the whole organization, for instance on how to use our systems.
Thirdly, you will be involved ad hoc in different projects, such as recruitment and onboarding of foreign employees, people development, onboarding processes, etc.
Requirements
There are a few things that will help you have a great time in this role:
- A keen eye for detail, which will ensure that you spot typos or other errors in our data. We aim for perfection, but we’re all human!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Strong English writing skills, so that you can provide information and describe procedures clearly and effectively.
- A service-oriented attitude, meaning that you always aim to be helpful and are eager to learn what you don’t yet know.
Your profile
We imagine that you are studying for a master’s degree in HR Management, Business Psychology, or another related field. It could be within IT or Social Science, but the primary trait will be your overall love of data, communication, and optimizing processes.
People analytics might be your specialty – but most importantly, you are driven by ensuring diligent and smart information handling. An understanding of GDPR will be a benefit.
Danish is not a requirement but can be useful.
