Benefits of Being Part of The Nordic Solar Team

We like to celebrate milestones and have fun. The best way to get to know your colleagues is being together socially. You can join our Friday bar, annual summer and Christmas parties, or perhaps you would like to participate in employee-driven initiatives such as football training or the winter bathing club. Our foosball tournament is never-ending, and we also have an Employee Association arranging different activities a few times a year. Our annual company trip is always a lot of fun and designed to strengthen the unity and teamwork of the company.

We value the importance of good health – mentally and physically. We provide a healthy lunch and snacks during the day. We offer functional training sessions with an instructor three times a week and on Wednesdays, you can book a massage in the office partly paid by us. We also offer health insurance and subsidised psychotherapy.

Great minds remain great only when they are challenged and given the chance of ongoing development. That is why we are committed to offering everyone the opportunity to grow professionally. We facilitate this through regular development conversations, at which you and your manager discuss your well-being, role and aspirations.

We acknowledge the unique responsibility of leadership in ensuring the welfare of our employees. Therefore, we dedicate additional resources to the training and support of our leaders. This includes facilitating networks, offering personal coaching and providing ongoing leadership training.

We believe that you will be at your best if we offer you the opportunity to plan your work with a high degree of flexibility. Of course, there are different requirements in different functions, but we will do our best to help you find the work-life-balance that you need to be happy and productive.

We believe we can have a positive impact when we support parents in spending time with their children.

For new parents, we offer extended, paid parental leave, regardless of whether you are the birthing or non-birthing parent. Furthermore, we offer the possibility of reduced hours in the first four weeks back at work, with full salary.

As a parent, you are provided an annual care day for each child up to 15 years of age as well as an additional sick day entitlement if your children are under the age of 3.
