Commercial Asset Manager

About the Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to join our Commercial Asset Management team, which is a sub-department within the wider Operations team. You will be crucial in managing and optimizing operational projects. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations to our operational portfolio, ensuring organizational growth within asset management. You will be part of diverse & talented team while working from our HQ in Hellerup, Denmark.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage commercial activities including Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Guarantees of Origin (GoOs), Balance Responsible Party (BRP), and insurance.
  • Develop business cases for investment decisions and operational optimisations, presenting potential optimisation opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyse energy tariffs and price trends, providing historical, present, and future forecasts.
  • Manage OPEX budgets and regularly report on commercial risks, performance metrics, and energy trading risks.
  • Serve as the main liaison for external stakeholders such as official bodies, landowners, external off-takers, consultants, and brokers.
  • Responsible for park evaluations and the financial model for the operational phase.
  • Fulfill PPA reporting requirements and deadline commitments.
  • Secure a comprehensive PPA overview of the full portfolio.
  • Conduct monthly management reporting on risks and financial variations within energy

About you

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in project management and financial analysis along with potentially related commercial business field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general data analysis skills.
  • Proven analytical and financial competencies, ideally within energy trading and PPA management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in the renewable energy sector.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of managing both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive problem solver with a curious and analytical mindset.
