Technical Asset Manager

About the Position

As a Technical Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the operation of photovoltaic (PV) projects, ensuring their success from development to construction from an operational perspective. You'll play a key role in optimising performance, ensuring compliance and leading cross-functional collaboration. Your insight and proactive approach will directly influence our strategic initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

You will report to Head of Operational Asset Management and be part of a diverse team. This position will be in Hellerup, Denmark.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage specific assets and identify opportunities to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Analyze performance of own sites, detect potential issues, and work collaboratively with other departments to implement solutions.
  • Oversee contract guarantees, product warranties, and insurance claims.
  • Ensure your sites meet local regulations, permits, and contracts, and propose strategies to maintain compliance.
  • Contribute to OPEX budgets and adjust forecasts to reflect project needs throughout the year.
  • Act as the Operations representative in project groups, influencing design and operational readiness during the development and construction phases.
  • Manage tender processes, optimize contracts, and drive cost-effective operational practices.
  • Conduct yearly technical inspections to uphold high standards of operational excellence.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and introduce innovative solutions to enhance PV operations.

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical operations management within the renewable energy sector, preferably PV.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) is required; proficiency in another European language, such as Danish, Lithuanian, or Swedish, is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • An analytical mindset with a passion for identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
  • A collaborative spirit with the drive to mentor and support junior colleagues.
