Nordic Solar completes new divestment - the first in Spain

Beniarbeig, a 2 MWp solar park located in southeastern Spain near Alicante, has been a valuable contributor to our operational portfolio’s solar power production for over a decade.

Divestments of operational assets are part of our strategic approach, and the sale of Beniarbeig is no exception.

The sale of this project supports our strategy of recirculating our capital in large-scale parks and reflects our focus on investing in development and construction of large hybrid projects in Europe going forward.

We hereby reconfirm our strong internal capabilities with divestments of projects.

We are happy to announce that we have successfully concluded the sale of Beniarbeig to the buyer Intermoney Capital which operates funds with focus on renewable energy investments in Southern Europe.

Beniarbeig is now an addition to their strong portfolio of PV assets in Portugal and Spain and the continued solar power production in Europe.

Nordic Solar has previously divestet solar parks from its operational portfolio in Italy, Portugal, France, and Germany.
