The solar park is divested to the local buyer, Green Utility S.p.A, which focuses on delivering renewable energy to Italian consumers.

‘The investment in Pellegrino contributes to achieving the objectives of the Green Utility Group's business plan, which aims to increase the kWh produced by our plants and at the same time increase their value through direct energy sales agreements,’ said Andrea Bernetti Evangelista, Head of Investment Management of the Green Utility Group.

The project has been part of Nordic Solar’s portfolio since 2013, and the disposal reflects Nordic Solar’s strategic focus on the development, construction and operation of large-scale solar parks.

“We are pleased to announce the second divestment of a solar park in our Italian portfolio. Executing transactions aligns with our long-term strategic goals and the sale of the Pellegrino solar park is part of focusing our portfolio in the Italian market,” says Holger Bang, CIO of Nordic Solar.

In January we announced the first sale of one of our solar projects in Italy, the Sella portfolio of 12.84 MWp.

Nordic Solar is currently operating and constructing over 750 MWp of projects across Europe, including Italy, with a strong, diversified development portfolio of utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects.
