Financial Controller

About the Position

As a Financial Controller at Nordic Solar A/S, you will be responsible for the 360-degree financial controlling of one or more projects related to the construction of new solar parks and participate in the Group Reporting work. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of project controlling models
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting including reconciled profit/loss and balance sheet
  • Prepare budgets yearly and quarterly updated forecasts
  • Review tax calculation prepared by local administration
  • Monitor all filing compliance issues (e.g. annual reports, VAT, tax, reporting to authorities)
  • Cooperation with local auditors
  • Cooperation with the local administrator/accountants
  • Cooperation with Nordic Solar EPC team, technical staff, and investment team
  • Invoice approval, payroll approval and payment approval
  • Develop financial controlling
  • Ad hoc tasks

The group prepares quarterly external reporting in accordance with IFRS. The job includes tasks related to the reporting and consolidation work.

Experience

The ideal candidate holds a relevant economic background, for example, HD2/HD(R), financial controller, business administration, Cand.merc.aud, or similar. We are looking for a candidate with at least 3-5 years of experience, where you have been working with financial controlling or financial reporting. It is expected that you have experience with reconciling the balance sheet.
