Nordic Solar has officially been accepted as a participant of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). This is a milestone for the company and a testament to our commitment to ethical business practices, sustainability and social responsibility.

The UN Global Compact is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative, encouraging businesses worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible practices. By joining, we pledge to align our operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour rights, environment and anti-corruption.

"Joining the UN Global Compact Network Denmark is a milestone for us, as it aligns with our commitment to sustainable development within renewable energy and responsible business conduct. This membership reinforces our dedication to the UN's ten principles, providing us with a strong framework to enhance our ESG efforts. By committing to integrate these ten principles into our operations and value chain, we not only contribute to a more sustainable future but also create long-term value for our stakeholders,” says CEO Nikolaj Holtet Hoff.

"Being part of the UN Global Compact Network Denmark is a valuable opportunity for us to embed sustainability deeper into our daily operations. This membership provides us with practical tools and a global network to enhance our ESG initiatives, helping us to translate the UN's principles into actionable steps across all levels of our business. By doing so, we strengthen our impact and ensure that our commitment to responsible practices is consistently reflected in everything we do," says Head of ESG & Sustainability, Mette Just Elkjær
